Left’s Legacy Of Destroying Independent India

AzadAzad

Name of CPI in Palghar lynching got me wondering. I realized many of us don’t know what we call as left & various fragments they have which are all working towards the same cause in their own way. What is left and what is Left’s legacy in destroying independent India? There are about 25+ big and small communist parties in India. Few know that Communists did not want to join the democratic process and wanted to undertake an armed revolution. As per this declassified CIA file, they joined Indian political mainstream on Soviet insistence.

For Chinese attack on Tibet in 1950 and India in 1962, Nehru ji cannot claim innocence. He was strongly warned by Sardar Patel in a letter which he ignored. Communists actively supported this invasion into Tibet and played it down as a skirmish.

Going on a tangent here and adding Sardar Patel’s warning to Chacha Nehru dated 7 November 1950. And despite this, our then Prime Minister was flirting with ‘Hindi Cheeni bhai bhai’ till a night before that eventful attack in 1962.

Despite winning Kerala elections in 1957, left could never secure more than 10% of popular vote. The dream of overnight revolution was shattered. A faction of Left was unhappy due to USSR’s alignment with Nehru and was now looking towards China for divine guidance. The Other faction consisted of people who were enjoying the benefits of democracy. They did not want to undermine their position by supporting China in a war against India. This is where first split in Communists happened. Marxist Communist party was born in October 1964.

Finally came the spark in 1967 that pushed India for next 5 decades of incessant violence in form of revolt in Naxalbari, West Bengal. In May 1969 came one more division when radicals stuck out and formed Communist Party Marxist/Leninist (CPML).

By the time 70’s rolled in, Communists actively started allying & infiltrating Congress in various places to come to power. This was not a new phenomenon. It started a long time ago. Ideologically, congress was doing what soviets wanted and that was somewhat acceptable to left.

But why did communists align with congress? One of the big reasons was the source of money. They all received money from one source. At one point of time, about 40% congress (I) MPs were on Soviet payroll. The other reason was ideology, which very closely matches Left’s.

They simultaneously started placing people in govt. positions as well. Idea was domination of intellectual discourse. To do that they started publishing various magazines and journals. It served the two pronged purpose of setting the intellectual tone as well as earning money.

By earning money I don’t mean honest money. Printing was a cash cow for communists. People’s publishing house alone earned ₹1 cr annually by publishing literature consistently espousing atheism, discarding culture and traditions. And there were multiple such publishing houses!

Intellectual domination meant infiltration of colleges too. Young and navive students were instigated and called in for revolution. VC of Jadhavpur, Gopal Sen was killed infront of the university library because he did not let Naxals boycott the exams.

In Presidency, principle had to shield a student in the class because class was on when they called for a strike. Every dissenting voice in universities was violently weeded out. And it was done by student recruits themselves. If you see JNU today, understand their malaise is old.

Remember the radical factions which didn’t like the USSR? They were being funded by Beijing. Same Beijing which attacked India. It’s comical how they towed foreign line just for some scraps from our enemies. Anyway, moving on.

A plethora of communist groups had popped up by now. This was accelerated after death of Charu Mazumdar who would deserve another thread altogether. It would suffice to say he was one of the pillars of Communist ‘revolution’ in India. Basic agenda was same and modus operandi had violence inculcated in it in various ways. MCC,CPI(ML), RCCI, PWG, CPI(M-L) Unity org are just a few examples.

They all, including the mainstream political parties, believed total revolution is the only way forward. So the next time they tell you they condemn violence, ask them to visit their own party programmes.

Similar case of intimidation was Sainbari Murders where CPI leaders lead the mob, killed a family and made the mother have Bhaat (Cooked rice) with the son’s blood. Poor woman lost her mental balance.

Political murders were always a trend in communist Bengal.

On the other side, high decibel highfalutin of the finest order about constitutional democracy, tolerance, freedom of expression was being carried out. But for all their efforts to sway people, their vote share never crossed 10%.

Terrorize, make front organisations, Proliferate existing democratic outfits and use all of these to build public consensus in their favor. The recently viral video of Gautam Navlakha is a fine example. Putting it up to refresh your memory.

This is when they mastered propping different organisations, and called themselves “Civil Society”. If you think making front organisations is new or merely some conspiracy theorist’s imagination, have a look at this list of left front organisations that CIA maintained in 1962.

Also notice, you will realize none of the names will make you suspicious that it is one of left’s frontal organisations. These would be started, funded and supported by leftist intellectuals and invite many others.

Soon they would start establishing Left’s line of destroying Indian culture and traditions. It is still going on by the way. In ways you cannot fathom. Have a look at how Jignesh Mewani is applauding the depiction of throwing Brahmin in Bhagwa from the stage of Yalgaar Parishad.

Umar Khalid here is asking people to come on the streets when Donald Trump visits India. In an other video, Sharjeel Imam is asking people to block the corridor to Northeast. What did that achieve? Riots? Disrepute to your nation on a global scale? Is that they want? Sadly, yes!

Don’t be confused by their anti-CAA chants or pro-democracy chants. Their ultimate objective is to attain power through a revolution. They will pick up any issue possible for that. Today it is CAA, yesterday it was casteism and day before that Brahminical supremacy and tomorrow it will be LGBTQ rights. God only knows how will they protect their rights while deriving support from fanatical Islamic Supremacists.

I think I should wrap it up here. For more information about Communists in India, you can see this thread as well. Also, threads are just a gentle push from my side for you to know more. Explore more and share it with me as well.
